This year Timbalaye, that will take place at L’Haban from 3 to 6 September, will be dedicated to Tio Tom, who represents Rumba authenticity and real feeling of the Festival: Seguridad y Firmeza

Timbalaye Festival is a cultural expression whose centre of attraction is Rumba essence and its influence on Cuban people everyday life. Other cultural activities revolve round the main theme of Rumba as a musical and popular phenomenon, as theatre, poetry, literature, art.
Rumba For this reason Rumba is considered from very different points of view, last but not least friendship and solidarity, basic feelings that link all the direct or indirect participants.
